Click the above button to install the new 64 bit version of the CP

that runs 5 times faster than the older 32 bit version

Don't forget to run the download after it's downloaded!

A number of customers don't realize that a CP update is a dual process

December 5 10:32 am

New: Coming soon:

More accurate ball spin detection using Hi-def ball images

Coding of this new feature is expected to be completed this weekend

December 4 10:12 am

CP 64 update 10.2.2.3

New: Camera base frame rate reduced to 800 fps when in chipping or putting modes

no matter if regular shot frame rate was set to 1500 fps

New: Max camera frame rate reduction when in Chipping or Putting mode now set to 25%

i.e. max frame delay frames set to 4

Fix: Possible issue with SCX putting resolved

New: Video Chipping mode

When re-loading a shot video and the video was made with the Chipping mode switched ON,

then the new "Video Chipping Mode" will be displayed

and the CP will re-calculate the data as if the CP was actually in Chipping Mode.

New: A check on valid ball detection thresholds is now being made

Fix: Math error in detecting the ball speed frame sequence

Fix: Scaling button not working

December 1 3:40 pm

CP 64 update 10.2.1.7

Ball detection threshold defaults now set at 90/160 so that when a ball is viewed over the club (as with wedge chip shots)

the ball is better detected and the underlying club face removed.

Auto Chipping mode now deactivated

Due to issues with Chipping Mode sometimes being activated at inappropriate times, it has now been deactivated until further notice.

Chipping mode can still be manually activated by pressing the C key though.

If chipping without the system being in chipping mode, place ball close to the front left edge of the launch zone area and

switch camera frame rate to 800 fps;

November 30 2:50 pm

CP 64 update 10.2.1.2

Video shot playback now showing the chipping and putting mode delay frames used for the shot

Putting delay frames limited to max 8

Max putting ball speed limited to 20 mph

Error in EVI / LX2 / LX1 system ball detection process and VLA fixed

As the SCX left / right ball path adjustment feature is no longer required, it has now been removed

November 21 5:48 pm

Tip:

Detecting chips and putts without the system being in "Putting Mode" or "Chipping Mode"

Select 800 fps instead of 1500 fps in order to slow the camera's frame rate down

so that there are more images of the ball in flight or rolling

and

play the ball closer to the left front edge of the launch zone area so that the ball is seen to have exited the launch zone area.

November 21 2:16 pm

CP 64 update 10.1.9.8

Fix. Putting and Chipping mode not working

Fix. Creative Golf interface not working

November 13 11:15 am

CP 10.1.8.8

New : Ball detection thresholds

The above link is only for the new 64 bit version of the CP

CP64

4 times faster than CP32

A quick speed comparison check this morning revealed that CP 64 is over 4 times faster than CP 32

While CP 32 required 5 seconds to calculate ball and club data for a particular shot, CP64 only required 1 second for the exact same shot

Thus, ball-strike-to-ball-launch lag time has been dramatically reduced with CP 64.

November 11 3:00 pm

Chip shot detection

In order to detect a chip shot, the system would normally have to be in "Chipping Mode" in order to slow the frame rate of the cameras down

As this mode is normally only switched on when the ball is close to the green, there is a problem if chip shots are required at other distances from the green.

i.e. you have a ball that went off the fairway in the woods and you just want to chip it back on the fairway.

This problem is now solved with this version by playing the ball close to the front edge of the launch zone area so that that the ball is detected in flight out of the zone area.

Hi Martin, I just wanted to drop you a note to say how amazing the new VisTrak camera is.

I am still playing around with the settings and learning but the video capture and being able to see the frame by frame impact is awesome!

I also really like the way you show the ball ready/playback buttons as an overlay on the TGC.

The best part of my day is going to the tech page and seeing your latest updates - keep up the good work!

Hi Martin- I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your efforts.

I could have bought any of the expensive and well-known golf simulators, but I’m glad I ultimately took the chance and bought your products.

It wasn’t an easy decision, as it takes a leap of faith to take the road less traveled, but it has made all the difference.

I love that your products are not perfect (no one's are) but that you strive for perfection while pushing innovation.

You’re clearly never satisfied. As soon as you develop a new software feature, or build a new camera system, you're immediately back at it working on the next iteration.

You’re a true inventor and engineer. Almost every day I download the latest beta and see how it enhances the simulation.

It's like Christmas morning everyday.

Sometimes there’s a marked improvement. Sometimes the new feature “breaks” something else.

But over days and weeks, I feel how the collective innovations are improving the overall experience.

Your products aren’t for everyone but they are a clear alternative to the high-margin corporate products that have an arm's length association with their user base.

Buying a GSA product is buying into you and becoming part of your user community.

You listen, you care, and you explore. I know many of us appreciate it but perhaps not enough of us say thanks.

Martin, thank you for an enjoyable and rewarding journey with your products in 2020.

You’ve made a COVID 19 year more endurable.
